I don't particularly wish to explain this, after all, how does one define creation? How might I describe the indescribable without confusing those whom I tell? Well, I shall certainly give it a go, to attempt to understand the creature Damien myself and to record in writing that which even the Gods are ignorant of.
Let me start where all things must, the beginning, but even this is not feasable, for there are no beginnings in a cycle and creation is precisely that! However, for the purpose of this account we shall start at the beginning of one of these cycles before weighting it down with the technicalities. When existence has reached its peak and ended in spectacular glory, a display truly worthy of its achievements I assure you, what happens to those ultimately powerful beings that had risen within its time? Those with energy so strong, so indisputable that it cannot possibly be over so rapidly! This is very true, it does not simply disappear but is rather drawn to a halt, residing in nothingness until needed. This is where the cycle of creation once again kicks into action, using the drifting essence of those Gods too powerful to simply cease existing, creation can once again reincarnate the few elite. This cycle has lasted forever and with each new beginning many of the same Gods are reassembled without the previous knowledge of ever having existed before hand. Understandably, with the cycle starting all over again, new supreme energies rise to the height of becoming indestructible, even with the end of existence. This is how new Gods are created and it is their job to create a home in which they can reside.
So, you are undoubtedly a little confused and I am sorry to have to undermine whatever current beliefs you may have had on the process of creation. You must now be wondering if these so called Gods exist now, in our own little slot within the endless cycle of creation. Well, I can assure you that they do. This time around created four primary entities. Two Gods, two Godesses. And let me now tell you that Gods do not create lesser beings out of pity or for the gracious distribution of life, oh no, they are a vain and proud race, all to aware of their extreme power. It is unthinkable for them to exist without the acknowledgement from creatures lesser than they. And thus, this is how we, human-beings, came to be. Given life so that we might worship the almighty beings.
But enough of the self-pretentiousness of those so much higher than ourselves. What of the materials creation does not use? It is true that each time new Gods enter the cycle, more energy is added to the process. Creation is a balance, it does not use more than it needs. Often, to maintain this order it must discard of unnecessary materials, casting them aside and adding to this abandoned collection each time it must again begin its cycle.
It is suspected that this abundance of raw and ultimate energy, previously unknown to all, has somehow confessed its existence to the one known as Damien. Already an infamous creature in his own right, son of the fallen arch Angel, Lucifer and a powerful dark Angel, Damien sought to harness this energy discarded by creation, labelled too powerful for a place within its process.
This is just what Damien accomplished, however, not all went according to plan for the notorious Hell brat. A creature of his standard was never meant to consume such power and what became of Damien was something so utterly incomprehensible. A creature completely mindless, totally possessed by the over-whelming energy and without the slightest train of thought. It is this absolute unawareness that plays as our saviour... Damien has the ability to crush all existence, to even discontinue the cycle of creation all together, but he hasn't the mind to do it...
The end will come for our slither of time within the cycle of creation, when the extremity of our power becomes too intense, when our faith in the Gods subsides and we are adamant that we are in no need of their protection, their answers and their trickery. When the Gods themselves grow bored of our antics and the whole process simply out-lives its purpose. The final battle between the Heavenly and the Earthly that will every time result in the return to nothingness. But this time is different, is it not? What will happen to the anomaly that has become of the dregs of creation, the ticking time bomb that could so easily and without effort end all and everything with a simple click of his fingers? Only time and cataclysmic destruction will answer these questions, an event none of us will ever witness.
