Padding forward through the ruins to his love's lair, horus sniffed the air. it was damp with rain yet smelt of fire started from the lightening bolts. The sky rumbled and glowed as the storm's whims demanded it.
He knew where the lair was, but the rain and wind made it hard to see.
trusting his nose he walked forward, heading home.

Airlia was carefully examining a piece of translucent pottery. The porcelain was so fine and exquisite that the candlelight managed to find its way through.
Her human-shaped fingers tapped it, she held it to her ear as if trying to seek the sound of the ocean, and her purple gaze scrutinized it mercilessly.
After nearly fifteen minutes of such behaviour, Airlia sighed and threw it behind her before picking up another piece of crockery. Somewhere in this pile was something precious, something powerful. She'd find it, if it took her all day, week or year.
Her mind picked up the faint shape of Horus on the periphery of her senses, and she smiled warmly with the anticipation of seeing him again. It would be most excellent.
"Come to me, my love" She sang faintly, out of tune.

Hearing her song like a distant siren's kiss calling him home he followed the noise untill it led him into her lair.
the candle flickered as he entered and threw shadows onto the walls that looked like battling deamons. He saw her, sat with her back to him sitting what seemed to be cross legged and rummaging intently through one of the many piles of treasure that littered her home. she was huming an off tune song that lured him to her like a moth to a flame.
he changed to human, walked up behind her and gently carressed the left side of her neck.
"lovely weather" he said finally breaking her reverie and making her jump

Airlia shot up into the air, shifting into snake, hydra, griffon, before human once again, turning, landing, and realising who had touched her.
"Horus!" She exclaimed with mocking scorn. "You'll break my treasure!" The demon indicated her pile of porcelain, which in truth did not look especially valuable.
She narrowed her eyes, "The weather appears not to favour you..." Airlia took in the puddle that was forming about Horus, and waved her hand in the general direction of some pile of tapestries and blankets, coverlets and robes. "I don't want to get wet by touching you - get dry first please."

Doing as we was told, horus headed for the blankets and began to pad himself dry, he found his clothes and equipment where he had left them and got dressed. He did note that the pile of "treasure" that airlia was insistant on defending did in all honestly look like a pile of broken plates, but if she was interested in it, there was more than likely a reason.
"What are you looking for?" he said, walking back over to her fully dressed, although he left his armour and weapons in the corner he found them in "please tell me you got rid of all of that sodding flower from in here" he said in mock annoyance at her distractedness

"Yes yes..." Airlia assured him, "I had a bit of a purge after that little accident." That was an understatement. It had been a massacre.
She passed him a saucer. "I found this cache beneath some ruins. There's something trapped in one of them. Probably someone like me. I want to see if I can release it." Airlia possessed enough innate curiosity to kill all cats in a hundred mile radius, despite not knowing the nature of what exactly lurked within these pieces, nor how to even coax it out, she wanted to see what she could do, see what she could find.
The demon was holding a large teapot and licking the edge with her tongue, trying to determine something, anything from the taste. Airlia withdrew her tongue and asked him tersely, "Is there something else you'd rather be doing than helping me?"

he examined the ornate saucer as he listened, it was an off-blue colour with gold trim, something about it seemed familiar but foreign at the same time "this one might be something, but i doubt its got anything trapped inside it" he said before sieng her licking the spout of the teapot
"what did you have in mind?" he said putting the small plate to one side and sitting down close to her. "that small plate is familiar, ive seen it before somewhere, good tea?"

Airlia put the pot down and gave him a flat look, which indicated that she knew he was joking, it wasn't especially amusing.
Her hair had probably missed Horus more than her skin, as it moved its way unbidden over towards him, which she correct with a twitch of her hand.
"You have been to the palace, yes? I can smell it on you. What news there? Anything we should know about?"

"while i never heard it confirmed, I believe lord draxus has been killed. His presence was not in the palace and ive never heard of him leaving it. this strange red haired woman, lilith seemed to be in charge there, she has a strange level of influence over arrow."
He touched the hair that moved towards him and let it wrap around his hand.
"he was their when i left and seemed completely besotted buy her,"
