Profile: Ophira's skin is beautifully tanned with an almost bronze sheen. She wears very little to allow for maximum mobility when fighting, just a simple tube of material across her chest and a golden, belt-like garment around her waist with hanging fabric front and back to cover accordingly. Ophira has a keen eye for jewels and precious metal, decorating her body in gold bracelets and anklets. Her hair is an amazing colour of almost flaming blonde that surrounds her amber eyes, full and vibrant, as if she had stepped from the sun itself.

Weapons: Ophira carries with her a long and thin golden staff, tipped with an orb of the same metal and flanked by two silver wings. This is used primarily for focusing magic.
Magic: Ophira's race is incredibly skilled with battle magic, particularly light and fire but all spells are relatively easy. Whilst she is quite capable of practicing magic without the aid of her staff, her weapon of choice is ideal for focusing this energy for its maximum effect.
Personality: Ophira is generally playful and care-free but maintains a very strong sense of pride for her people and family. She is defensive of her culture and religion and can be fired up easily over these topics. Her fierce patriotism and devoted loyalty have played a key part in her career.
History: Ophira originates from the sun realm, a layer of two suns one of which shines for eight and a half months of the year without setting, it is this particular flaming star that was gifted to the realm from their primary God. The other is the sun we know as our own. Her people are strongly religious, worshiping their deities daily, building immense monuments and temples for their approval. Gold plays an important part in the worship of gods, as a metal believed to have fallen from their gifted sun.
Ophria's family are simple, humble people, supporting their daughter in her ascent within her army career. She rose to become general of a rather large legion, her skill in magic and a fair good knowledge with physical attacks boosted her into into a a world of deadly missions and bloody battles, a life that Ophira has taken to very well. Her home, the sun realm, has long since had dealings with the infamous Midian and its King. The relationship between the two layers is turbulent, one advocating light, the other shrouded in darkness. Like many other layers, Ophira's home has been set up with a gateway into Midian, allowing the people to move freely from one to another.
How Ophira came to be in the sun forsaken city is no mystery. Sent as a guardian to Aalok, the sun realm's ambassador. Aalok's mission is a dangerous one, to attempt settling a dilemma that has been feared for as long as the gateway into Midian has existed. In the furthest corners of their world a black, choking vine-like weed has appeared, creeping its way along the sandy uninhabited dunes, turning them into a substance not unlike the landscape of Midian...
