Lilith slinks into the Palace, long red coat pulled tight about her hips and sweeping the floor with her elegant strides. The Lounge was empty but a dwindling fire hinted of activity not long ago. She soon sorted that out, with a single glance the fire leapt into full life again and danced happily in the hearth.
Lilith was here at the palace on business, she had things to discuss with Draxus and a debt to collect from the Elf, Orpheus. She slides off her long gloves and seats herself neatly beside the fireplace, staring absently at the flames reflecting in her cat green eyes. She has been away for quite some time, roaming Earth and playing with the souls of mortals. It always made her smile to know her meeting them had ultimately damned them. Wasn't that a quirky little thought, hmm?
Lilith's red nailed fingers tap the table beside her impatiently... Draxus was away, she could tell that, but the elf was across the hall, dithering about that self-obsessed Lunavyre. For now she would wait, her debt would be claimed in good time of course. She lights up a cigarette, her elegant fingers holding it delicately, she made the disapproved actions seem stylish somehow...

Orpheus thought he best summon Merryl, and begins the spell, but then thinks better of it. His familar knew it all, and was not complimentry about Luna in the slightest. He wanted to dwell on her, to indulge in melancholy.
He had given up on food too, and slunk into the lounge without really considering who or what lay within.
His nostrils smell the dirty cinnamon of tabacco, and his blue eyes snap upwards towards the source. Lilith. Just bloody great.
Orpheus almost savagely throws his body in a chair opposite her, his face stony as he stares at her, his voice cold, unfeeling. "Good Evening Lilith." Might as well open his veins now and have it over with.

Lilith taps her cigarette, the ash falling to the floor but disintegrated before it ever reaches the lavish cream rug beneath her. Draxy would never approve of the spilling of ash in his palatial home away from Hell. She turns to the elf, her body poised, back arched with feline seduction, a smokey haze shrouding her form.
"That's not much of a hello..." She grins, before stubbing out her cigarette. She sensed the Elf was not pleased to see her simply by the manner in which he spoke... "Not a hug or a kiss for my aiding you in your... little problem?" Lilith advanced toward the Elf, hips swaying underneath that crimson coat, a predator beneath it all.
She was close to him now, very close... The smell of him was intoxicating. Hot and alive...

Orpheus was not in the mood for this. Why did everyone except Luna behave in this manner to one degree or another? Even bloody Khailyn said she loved him, and his distate for humans was still enough to find that taboo, and quite disgusting.
He stood, he kept his dark gaze locked to her eyes, before turning his head. They were so close that strands of his long black hair brushed her skin as he did so. Sarcasm filled his voice, "Not tonight, I've got a headache."
He sighed, and moved with swift adroitness so the chair created a barrier between them. He felt marginally safer, perhaps Merryl at this point wasn't such a bad idea? No, he wouldn't want to reveal his advantage just yet.
"I take it you have some manner of task for me to complete?" It always was the way, he felt like a bloody errand boy most of the time. "Name your price, and you shall have it, Lilith, such was our agreement." He hoped it wouldn't be his body, he didn't know if he could take the shame.

Lilith leans boldly on the chair, folding her slender arms across its back. Her deep red lips smile teasingly, hinting of the sharp canines that lie beyond them... "Lets see..." She kneels on the chair now, the milky white of her legs appearing through the gap in her long coat. "Hmmmm. What could I possibly want from you, Orpheus?" Her words are cool and effortless, like cold venom working its way to the heart.
Lilith was indeed lusting for the drink but would have to control her urges if she was to benefit entirely from this little escapade. She had evolved far beyond the blood, it was no longer much use to her now but perhaps obtaining a small drop of this Elf's would give her an advantage in any future dealings. Oh yes, Orpheus was becoming a key figure here at the Palace...
"Aah, perhaps I shall ask of you what you would expect a Vampire like myself to ask. Would that seem appropriate to you? To satiate the primal thirsting, if only for a night or two?" Her grin widens to fully display those carnivorous fangs, glinting dangerously...

Orpheus chose his words carefully. To him, it would seem, she wanted his blood. He, of course, prefered it to stay in his veins, and obviously too much would result in his death.
His eyes lingered on her teeth rather than her exposed skin, and for a moment a vivid image of them puncturing his skin sent a cold shiver down his spine, enough for one hand to close instinctively around the hilt of a sword.
But, he was obligated, and a man of his word. He could not go back, when she had a large part to play in his freedom.
So he rattled off disclaimers as quickly and as thoroughly as his mind could find the words. "As long as you guarantee my health - do not kill me, do not turn me into a Vampire, and allow me to stop you should I choose, then we have a deal." It pained him to say it, but surely a quick bite and it would all be over? He realised something else and hurredly added, "I also will choose where you bite me." He'd be damned if it were his neck, she could kill him without even meaning to, and it was so... intimate. His arm would be best, from Orpheo's point of view. Less personal.

Lilith sneers, he was so full of anxiety, so worried. The lack of confidence was humorous and unwise to display openly in front her...
She nods once, eyes never leaving his own... "Oh my darling, you're no good to me dead." She strokes his face with an elegant finger hosting a silver ring shaped as a snake slithering to her fingernail. She could sense his longing to escape her, to pull back from her touch. The fear was more delightful than the blood...
"Where then, my pretty Elf?"

Orpheo's blue eyes narrowed at her touch, though he did not flinch, despite the digust that spread across his lower stomach.
By way of answering, Orpheus unwraps his clenched fist from his sword. He thrusted his arm out in front of her, his other hand pulling up the dark sleeve of his top, revealing bluish skin, veins snaked along, rivers to nowhere along the corded muscle on his arms.
He bared himself to the shoulder, though knowing what she was, and what she wanted, he felt far more exposed and vulnerable than just showing his arm to her.
"Just get it over with..." He muttered, turning his head to one side.

Lilith watches the Elf with a mild fascination, a soft, low laughter parts her lips momentarily "Aren't we the eager on?" She mocks. It was the same old routine...
She doesn't bend for his arm, oh no, she would never bow to anyone. Instead his arm is lifted to her lips. Lilith is skilled in the art and it plainly shows, she does not bare her fangs like some rabid hunting dog but rather forms her lips as if she were merely kissing his flesh. Her eyes close as the sharp canines puncture the delicate skin giving way to the liquid beneath its surface. It spills into her mouth, dark and fragrent. Lilith cannot help but shudder, a vague revealing of a let down in defenses, but this is all she allows to be shown.
Lilith drinks for less than a minute before dragging herself away from the precious fluid... In replace of her lapping tongue she holds a vial to collect the blood. Not a trace of it is left around her lips or even on her fangs when she smirks at him, holding his arm tight and still, allowing the blood to keep on with its flow...

Orpheus considered the tactical implications of drawing a sword and cutting her head off. He wished now he summoned Merryl, who's magic could have protected him as he comitted the act. It might have given him an opening.
But, Lilith was far from stupid, and probably had a counter to his move.
His arm ached, and he imagined he could feel his energy draining away with every gulp of his blue, copper-laden blood. Orpheus sighed as she withdrew, and watched her detachedly as she collected the blood.
"What's that for?" He asked mildly. The discomfort was less than he had imagined, but still, her mouth about his skin was vile in itself.

Lilith does not answer him, she was done with games. Her playful mocking and flirtations were pushed aside to reveal the foundations that had gained Lilith the status she has rightfully earned. Her grip tightens round his fore arm, squeezing the last of what she could get from the Elf's veins before it became too much for his form to do without. She wasn't one for mindless murder...
The vial reaches its capacity and she removes it along with her tight hold... Still she is silent whilst corking the delicate bottle and concealing it within her coat pocket. Slowly the business woman subsides and the usual dark grin reforms along those deep red lips "There, all done" She pauses "Would you like a lolly pop" Lilith mocks, voice smooth and velvety. The drop of blood she had received is already apparent in her cheeks, staining them a pale blue... She appears colder than ever...

Orpheus slumps in the chair, not knowing if it was the thought of lost blood, or the lost blood himself that was making him feel slightly weak, and sleepy.
He watches as the blood stops seeping, before tugging back down his sleeve.
"No thank you Lilith, even if I knew what one was I'd rather not." Orpheo yawns, then covers his mouth out of manners. "Excuse me." He mutters.
"We are even now?" He questions. She looked more familiar now, less alien, with her skin towards his own colouration. It made him terribly homesick for one moment, before he calmed himself and mastered the emotion.

Lilith smirks at his politeness when the drowsiness kicks in. Most of them were dead before managing a courteous 'Excuse me.' She herself is restless, irritable to be standing still, here in the Lounge with a weary Elf. This was the blood in her, it wanted her to move and talk, eat and drink... It made her mortal if only for a moment or two.
"A lollipop is a human confectionery. Doctors dispense them after treating young patients, I do believe" Lilith says, very matter-of-factly. After a pause she laughs, almost human sounding with the blood in her voice, a long and care free sound. She paces the room, agitated by simply being here... "In answer to your question, yes, we are even. But you are still not free from danger." Lilith glances up wards "Your former mistress has just entered the building" She follows this statement with a rather cruel smirk before proceeding to the door. Lilith needed life, energy and impulse, before her drug wore off...

Orpheus was further baffled. He had no idea what a Doctor was. Obviously some form of Vampire, who preyed on children? Disgusting, thats what it was.
He had already started muttering a healing spell as he heard mention of Khellesi, there was no love lost between them, that was for sure. The prickles of magic ran from the back of his skull down his back and pooled between his hips, like a ball of energy it filled him; healed him.
Ironically, the strength of the spell was such that it weakened him, but using it let him regain the strength it took. However, Orpheus knew that casting magic - at least without Merryl to aid him - wouldn't be on the cards. Looked like it was down to his swords should he come across Khellesi.
