As Horus entered the room through the large double doors, the first thing he noticed was the fireplace. big, warming and welcoming. It reminded him of his childhood, many happy years speant playing in front of the fire. before the city became the fire.
Not knowing what to expect in this strange buiding, horus was once again holding his rifle, aiming in the direction his head looked.
He moved slowly and cautiously into the room, hearing voices as he did.
"Hello?" he said out loud.

Jaeger had awoken in an armchair. To his relief, he was fully clothed. Last time, to his abject horror, he had been naked. That had proved to be rather amusing for the first five seconds, then horribly embarrassing. This place had become almost familiar to him now, and with his swords he felt more normal.
It was cold though, and he piled up the fire that was dying in the grate, singing to himself softly in a broken, bluesy whisper.
"In spite of how, I know this is so true, I'm falling in deep, and falling for you!" He grinned at the song, so terribly banal. But his amusement was cut short as he heard a tentative 'Hello?'
Jaeger was crouching, and he put a hand on his sword hilt as he rose, calm and assured, but still. No need to take risks.
He saw the man, turned away from him, and Jae called out, "Over here!" With no short amount of mocking sarcasm. He even gave a little wave. Ha. At least this one looked vaguely normal, not like some bloody demon.

A black shimmer before the newcomer Horus, a long, thin leg pushing from a crack in reality, a contorted, puppet-like frame appearing behind the leg.
Damien gazed at nothing, having no apparent regard to that which his 'senses' beheld. An outline of a cross formed in front of him, before his chest heaved and split, a wave of black liquid spilling from him. A weapon launched itself from his open chest and into the outline, taking its form.
The Cross - the relic of an ancient Heavenly Lord turned to horror. Damien reached for the weapon, grasping it in long thin fingers...
And then, without heed or meaning, his entire form collapsed into the black oil-like substance, and draining into an opening hole in the floor, all that was visible through this hole, was the endless stars of another realm. The Cross shatters, it's shards following suit as the hole snaps shut...

astonished at what had just appeared in front of him, and resisting the urge to pump a few rounds into the the spot on the floor he had just seen.. he didnt know what he had just seen dissapear into. he stood there.. and wished he was drunk.
He had heard the person standing near the fire place talk. but did not take in what he said
"what the F*ck was that?" Horus said, not even introducing himself, to the stranger. But walking over, rifle in hand to the fireplace where he stood.

Jaeger did not know what that thing was, his senses heightened by the bond to Ailynne, realised that it was bad news. It made his skin crawl and the front of his head hurt. He gripped the hilt of his swords, ready to fight, but as soon as the... demon... he supposed, appeared, it had gone.
He blinked, muttering under his breath, "Bloody demon.." Then turned his attention back to the relatively human figure. Jaeger used that expression as he had caught sight of those eyes, and guessed he was slightly different in some capacity.
Jae grinned, feral and wild. "Not a bloody clue." Then held out his hand, introducing himself. "Jaeger."
The man was of a larger build than he, whilst Jae was of a height with him, he was lean and wiry, with no wasted fat on him from years of skipped meals (not by choice) and then his training as a Knight. His forearm and hand were a healthy olive colour, and he seemed to radiate good health like it was going out of fashion. Jaeger's white teeth were exposed once more in a smile as he realised now what the man reminded him of, his senses guiding him. A wolf.

Horus regarded the skinny man, and then shook his hand, "Horus". "ive just woken up here, i talked to someone... what was her name.. very beautifull.. purple hair. liked changing into random animals. She just healed my leg and flew off.. what was her name.." He paused and looked around. "Airlia"
The man infront of horus seemed underfed, yet held a great presence, like a marshal arts instructor. He seemed very warrior like.
The pain was begining to rerturn to his leg. but not as bad. Airlia must have done good work with it as he could not stand on it before meeting her.

Jae nodded to him in a semblance of politeness, whilst in the privacy of his own skull thought what a loon. Turned into animals? The only people Jaeger had seen here before was the elf, Orpheus and that... creature. Now Horus the Crazy Man, as he had mentally labeled him, was added to his meager list.
"We-ell." A moment of awkwardness as Jaeger searched for words, normally confident reams of sarcasm came tumbling from his mouth, but he was wary in this place, and also this Horus chap - if he was crazy or not - carried a bloody big gun and was probably twice his weight. Best to tread softly.
"Just woken up?" The words sparked off Jaeger's memory. He too only touched this place in his sleep, some form of dreamwalking, he had been told, but his body was corporeal enough, and wounds sustained and food eaten lingered in his waking body back in Tear.
"Don't worry Horus. This place is a bloody loony bin"
Ha. Including you and your tales of girls who can transform into animals.
"But I'll see you through. My first example..." Jae regained some of his usual swagger as he opened a cupboard, revealing ancient bottles labelled with yellowed, faded strips of paper, written in a hand that to Jaeger at least, looked Elvin or something of the like. He removed one that had fingerprints cutting through the dust, the first time he got here, he had become swiftly drunk, on the basis that would make the world fit to his idea of how it should be.
He passed over the bottle to Horus. "This, my friend, is what shall get you through. I suggest you get very drunk, very quickly" He said with deadpan seriousness, until the twitches of a smile quirked his mouth upwards. "I'm serious. Take it."

Lunavyre awakens in her room, the sleep had calmed her a bit and she wasn't feeling quite so detached from reality... She sensed him at once, her Lord, back in the Palace. She thought of running to him like a child... But no... now that he was here, she didn't want to bend to his will. She would wait for him to approach her! Yes, and with that Luna heads down stairs, resolute and pouting.
The lounge door was open ajar and she pushes it gently to allow herself enough room to glance around it and into the room. The sight of two newcomers makes her sigh and her eyes roll. Just what the Palace needed, more creatures to drink the wine and occupy the space by the fire. Luna takes in the tall thin man and the other of slightly bigger build then ignored them completely, heading toward the bar where the thin one stood and almost nudged him out of the way to get to a bottle of liquer...
She says nothing...

Jaeger saw the woman in purple, and then realisation dawned. Horus wasn't as crazed as he thought. This one, she must be the purple shape-shifter. Jaeger wouldn't have said 'beautiful' but there was certainly something about her that was a bit different to the ordinary.
She then proceeded to get in his way.
He commented, "And a good evening to you Mistress Scrissy." Jae thought about pinching her bottom, then thought better of it, on the basis if Horus was correct, then she might turn into a monster and bite his head off literally.

Draxus appeared at the doors to the lounge, silently casting his gaze over the two he had never seen... Sigh... He wondered why his palace seemed to attract such scruffy individuals. His gaze shifts, to Luna... She was annoyed with him, as ever.
He steps slowly inside, shutting the doors behind him and seating himself some way away from the three, his blazing red gaze the only thing to give him away in his darknened corner.
"Lunavyre."
His voice was like flaming silk, an ethereal quality to it that gave the impression that it would be heard even if he were to whisper... His eyes flare slightly, his thin eyebrows softening as he watches Luna, though he gave no impression that she must come to him, he was patient, as ever.

Horus took one sniff of what the Jaeger had just offered him and put it on the counter. He had once drunk a bottle of vodka that smelt like that, and he wasnt eating right for days.
"no, thank you" he said as another strange creature pushed the skinny man out of the way do grab the bottle.
'ok, im stoned, very very stoned' he thought to himself 'this is a very wierd dream. thats the last time i leave the city for anyone'
Literally as she did a strange voice came from behind him.
"Lunavyre"
Horus turned to see the man that Airlia had shown him. This must be Lord Draxus.
"Lord Draxus, i presume?" he said in a wry, humourless tone. "I have awoken here after being attacked by a wolf, a beast in a field just south of new moscow," he paused taking in a breath "a being that calls herself Airlia told me to talk to you about seeking shelter here, i thought it best to ask than to just assume that it will be given to me, oh, im Horus" he said extending his left hand, and smiling.

Draxus' red gaze shifts back to Horus as he moves close. His narrow eyes become more so, his eyebrows arching slightly. He looks at Horus' hand, but doesn't move to take it.
"I am not one for associating with anyone that simply appears in my home... I have never heard of this place you refer to, nor do I have any idea why you are here. Here is, after all, a place accessible by everyone..."
He runs a gloved hand through his sleek black hair.
"Stay... Everyone else does..."

Luna sneers at the one at the bar, over confident and cocky he was, she could tell just by his stance. She fetches what she was looking for, the aged clear liqueur and turns abruptly on her heel at the sound of her name. Draxus. She wouldn't let him reign her in but before Luna can scoff at him and storm off, the other stranger approaches him first...
Her Lord was rude as always, uncaring of his guests opinions. No wonder the rooms were so vacant these days! Luna stared at him, his flaming red eyes softly lighting the shadows in which he kept to... So over dramatic! He wouldn't care if she went to him or not! So she stays put, right by the bar pouring herself a glass of the clear liquid, her deep purple eyes glancing to the man beside her, but always back to Him...

Jaeger remembered something that the elf, Orpheus told him, regarding the rather pompus and ostentaciously styled 'Lord Draxus'. It was something about not trusting him, or staying away or some other bollocks that he had not really taken in at the time.
To Jae - independently of the elf's advice - his only lady was Ailynne, however much he despised to admit that, and Lord Drax-I've-got-red-eyes-so-I'm-so-fucken-special-us was not going to get even a bow out of him.
The purple lady had the right idea, staying where there was liquor.
Jaeger considered this was almost an invitation to treat, and whispers to her, "Does Draxy-the-crimson-eyed-wonder have a pole shoved up his arse, or is this just his normal appearance?" He grinned then, wide and feral, his tone one of trusting someone with an important lie.
He shrugged down a throwing knife from his sleeve - many were hidden about his person - and he idly began to weave the metal through is fingers in deft flourishes, Jae's fingers were always twitching for something to do, and he didn't have any coins on him, so knives it was.

After listening to what the man in front of him had to say, Horus sighed. 'that was easier than i anticipated' he thought, before nodding and returning to the bar. He took no offence to the man not shaking his hand. after all, he had only just met him.
Horus regarded the other creature at the bar. she was concentrating too much on the bottle in her hands. He sensed tenseness.
what was it that the lord had called her? "lunavyre"? a wierd name.. prolbably not even her name, just a greeting in some strange language.
Again, sighing he put his rifle on the bar counter, sat on a nearby stool and began to look at the drinks.
The skinny man had begun playing with a knife. How primative it looked. Horus could add one micro cell to that and it would cut through anything with ease..
There was one thing for sure.. horus was getting hungry.
