The gallery above the lavish entrance hall hosts two corridors to the left and right, but directly opposite the huge stair cases ones eyes are instantly drawn to the carved wooden doors concealing a scholars dream. For beyond lies the extensive library, its high walls full entirely with scrolls and books of unimaginable things. A wealth of knowledge resides here upon the heavy oak shelves.
What wall remains to be seen is of a beautiful royal blue, with carpets and drapes to match. Lit well with hundreds of candles that seem never to melt down, their flames of no threat to this ancient and enchanted palace.
The centre of this wondrous room hosts a table of considerable size, laden with books and parchments yet to be stored away, flanked by two winding stair cases leading to those unreachable books. One can sit here or beyond it, beside the double storied window on comfortable arm chairs and couches. This room is a popular hide-away for guests, and it's not hard to understand why...
