Khailyn had returned to rummaging through shelves in hopes of finding something similar to the accidental discovery of the powerful little spell book. She drags herself away from the rows of colourful book spines and turns to Orpheus, "Hmm? Oh, fire, well yes that seems..." She glances again at the page, deciphering the old language "...well, I'm not entirely sure but I think it's to conjure a fire ball of some sorts..." Her eyes scan the words "...from space" She adds uncertainly...
This 'magic' seemed a little beyond them... But it was this sort of power that was needed. "I'll keep looking" Khai says dismally.

Orpheus sighed. He was tired, and a headache was growing behind his eyes.
"Right." He managed, somewhat stiffly, trying to keep a good humour. Merryl paced about him, nuzzling his hand affectionately.
"Oh Orpheo. You need to sleep. Khailyn, don't you have anything?"
Orpheus ruffled her fur affectionately. "I'm alright. Just that fireballs cascading from the sky isn't really something I'm comfortable with." He gave Khailyn a wan smile.

"Right, Mmm, of course" Khailyn replies, nodding her head in agreement whilst sorting through old scrolls. Some had lost their secrets entirely to time, worn away from too much handling. One simply fell apart in her hands and Khai quickly stuffs the pieces back behind another scroll. She too could see that Orpheus was drained, too weary to search through old texts for a cause he probably felt was unnecessary.
"Here" She says, handing Orpheus a small pile of papers, mostly elemental spells, but a few dark summonings too, just incase. "See if anything there takes your fancy" Khailyn picks her bag up from the table, readying herself to leave. The elf was a little too polite for his own good and might not excuse himself for much needed sleep otherwise. She slips a small square of folded parchment into her pocket, giving a sly wink to Merryl.
"Thank you Orpheus. Just talking to you has eased my burden. But I really think we should both get some rest" Khai smiles pleasantly and leaves through the huge doors, their hinges creaking as she closes them behind her.
