Horus drew the sword. At first it felt merely lighter. more balanced. Untill he flicked the power switch that was. The Ussually blue blade Pulsated with a purple glow. the normal vibrations of the powercore where gone, as if it was no longer there. He swung it. As if knowing Horus wanted a demonstration the sword came to life. White lightening craclked and tore at reality as the sword swung. Horus grinned, then picked a target. a large rock leant up against a wall. He swung. it fell into two halfs, though some of it got sucked into unreality as the blade cut through the air. "nice"
"thank you", he said, sheathing the blade, walking up to her and hugging her. "So this is your home?" he asked looking around

Airlia accepted his attentions and thanks as her due, and gestured grandly to the crumbling masonry. "My home. You can stay here as you wish."
She abruptly jumped off the stone, gesturing to be followed. Yes the mansion was mostly derelict, though there were some rooms that were still standing, still lit with warmth and...well... he would see soon enough.
Under an alcove, through a mostly in tact corridor, Airlia led Horus. Eventually she came across layers of thick curtains, which she pushed through, squashing a few insects that crawled across her skin absently. The rotting velvet filled her senses completely, enveloping her in darkness before she broke through to an interior room.
Airlia was a Demon, yes, though perhaps part magpie too. The large room was decorated hap-hazardly, in hundreds of different styles and patterning. Nothing matched. The bare stone walls were covered with strange and ancient tapestries in various states of disrepair. One was threadbare and threatening to fall to dust at any moment.
As for furniture it was mostly wooden or gilt, with a number of throws and pieces of material, a plethora of vases and ornamentation.
None of this was visible until she cast magic to illuminate the room fully. Large orbs of light magic sprang from her hands, floated upwards until they nestled in a large glass chandelier that was suspended from the ceiling.
Airlia perched on a chair near the fireplace and cast again to bring flames and therefore warmth to the room.
"This is where I live." She explained. "You can stay here whenever you like."

"This is a lovely place" he said looking around before picking a corner to dump his stuff. "where did you get all the stuff from?"
Interested and curious he started to look at things, leavng the fragile looking tapestries well alone and concentrating on the smaller items, trinket boxes, jewl encrusted rings, glass plates. Most of it looked very old and worth alot
He was about to say somethng, even turned to face airlia before he noticed it, a blue flower. growing from a crack in the wall. Thnking about romantic gestures more than anythng else Horus picked it, and gave it a customary sniff, before what would have been a handing of it to airlia.
Instead he dropped it, His eyes burned. "wha. " he choked "whats happening....". The wolf asserted itself quickly. Succumbing to the animal rages instanly ignited by the scent of the flower, he fell to his knees and barely had time to release the armour he was wearing before he changed.
Horus stood, on four legs. Foaming at the mouth. Silver teath showing in a grimacing growl as his augmented eyes shone with a fury likened to a thousand small stars. He let out an ear splitting howl, turned towards airlia, snorted and ran down the corridor and out into midian. lookign for something to kill..
