No extravagant party of the palace would be complete without an indulgent banquet to follow. A huge oak table dominates the hall, garnished with the finest cutlery and crystal wine glasses. It is doubtful one should come away from the table feeling under-satiated. At the northern point of the table, a chair of enormous size hosts the Lord himself.
South of this throne-like seat, following the full length of the room is the balcony, perfect for a quiet glass of wine away from the ravenous crowds, over looking the Gothic gardens, glowing in the blaze of the party.
This room is rarely used in the absence of guests, but the kitchens beyond will serve you any food, any time.
